With FontFlasher, our pixelfont creator, you can turn any font into a pixelfont giving a crisp appearance in Adobe Flash.
Flash uses TrueType fonts, but in smaller sizes, these fonts can look fuzzy (see example at right). FontFlasher converts almost any format font into pixelfonts ? crisp outline fonts that simulate bitmaps. This improves legibility of screen text in small font sizes.
Note: FontFlasher requires FontLab Studio or TypeTool or TransType to generate a font in TrueType or Type 1 format.

After
 Text rendered with a pixelfont made from the same font as above using FontFlasher.
Six easy steps:
- First select any installed font to convert to a pixelfont.
- Choose the pixel size for your font.
- Select a codepage for your font or Unicode to convert all characters (requires Windows >= XP).
- Save your font in FontLab format (.vfb).
- Use the Pixel tool in FontLab Studio to edit your glyphs (requires installed Python interpreter) if necessary.
- Generate your TrueType font in FontLab Studio, TypeTool or TransType and you?re done!
